My Weaving
Recently, I've come to see the Mythos of the Goddess Isis and the God Osiris in a new light….
That Osiris didn't just represent a God from the Egyptian Pantheon, but that this story is a Mythos retelling of War and Chaos (anger, rage, fear and violence) represented by his brother, Seth, who dis-membered the Sacred (Osiris).
Once, when the world was Whole, the Sacred was also Whole.
Until it wasn't.
Those filled with fear, anger and rage — who sought Power Over The World through War and Chaos — took the Collective Sacred Spirit and tore it apart; dis-membered it and scattered it on the winds.
Each portion of the Collective Sacred Spirit was hidden in a different part of The World. It was kept dis-membered in an effort to disempower The World's People, so only a very few could retain their Power Over.
Isis not only grieved the Death of Osiris, but also saw that The World could not live this way. So she set foot into The World to Seek Out and Reclaim all the lost and hidden body parts of the Collective Sacred Spirit needed to keep The World alive.
In the end, she could not find all the pieces, and without that one missing piece (key) — the door to the Collective Sacred remained closed.
Instead of wallowing into the pits of despair, she simply fashioned her Self a new key to the door; as any Goddess worth her salt would do.
In doing so, she was able to create new life and rebirth it into The World (Horus).
At the end of her journey, Isis was never able to fully bring Osiris back into life permanently (the way the world used to be), BUT their Divine Child (our future) still walked forth —
The Re-Birth of the Sacred into the Collective Consciousness.
Here comes my Rebellious Nature into the picture…
What IF?????
All those dis-membered and disembodied pieces of Osiris, or if you will, the Collective Sacred Spirit…
… are actually all the different religions and spiritual traditions/ paths that have been separated around The World?
Have we, as The World’s People, been Spiritually (and physically) Disempowered by Separatism fueled by Hatred and Greed?
So, what if all these Teachings and Pathways to the Sacred are not just leading to the same place, as I hear so many people saying these days, but actually exist as a Contextual Wholeness of the Sacred when they are all brought back together and re-membered the way Isis Re-membered Osiris, so to speak.
So the question is — the missing piece, the key she had to make — do we each make our own? What shape does it take?
How do we open the door?
And when we do manage to get that door open —
May we allow the Teachings and Pathways to enter us as both individuals and a Collective Whole.
For this is how we give birth to the next phase of our Spiritual Evolution — and by extension our Human Evolution in Becoming The Divine Children.
And to put this into a tidy package….

As you read this work, what percolated up from your subconscious? Emotions? Thoughts? Images? Does my work inspire you to create one of your own?
What is YOUR Key Shaped like? Now I know Isis’ key was to mold Osiris a new phallus out of clay, and I'm sure we could delve into this whole concept for weeks at least. However, I'm challenging YOU to look at it from a different perspective (a different shape)— What Shape does YOUR Key to a Divine Consciousness from an Evolved Human Embody?

How does the Shape of Your Key affect Your Mythos or Series of Mythos that you identify with?
What happens if you plug this key into your own life?
Take that key and merge it with the Mythos of Your Astrological Sign(s).
What is your end result? How does it make you feel? Will this new story change your life choices moving forward?
Do you agree with it? Disagree? Why? Do you have a friend or therapist who will welcome bouncing the ideas around so you may see a deeper well within your Self?
Journal Prompt for Secret Messages: Choose an idea, word line, or entire phrasing from what I’ve written here and write down everything that comes up for you in a free-flow without censorship. Go back through and circle key words and phrases from your own writing. Is there a secret message hidden within your subconscious? Within your Soul?
Take it one step further, and continue to journal about how that secret message makes you feel. Do you agree with it? Disagree? Why? Do you have a friend or therapist who will welcome bouncing the ideas around so you may see a deeper well within your Self?
Accessing Spirit through Creation… Words, Artwork, Jewelry, DIY Rosary or Prayer Beads. Create a more physical practice through Yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Nature Walks and more! Pick one or two for your practice today and see what happens! Don’t forget to journal about it so your future self will have a road map on challenging days.

Line “…to make available sign posts, trail markers, bread crumbs and pin cushions.” : Refers to all the different sign posts and trail markers that you might find in fairy tales and wisdom stories. Bread crumbs famously found in Hansel and Gretel, and following the pin cushion comes from my family’s deep dark forest roots across the ocean.
